Most clinics refer you out and across town, then wait for results to trickle back. iCollab was built differently. Several specialties practise on-site, so your family doctor can refer you to a trusted colleague nearby — keeping your care connected from start to finish.
How on-site referrals work
When your iCollab family doctor identifies something that needs specialist attention, they can often refer within our own team. That means less repeating your story, faster communication between your doctors, and a smoother path from question to answer.
Specialties on our team
Our physicians bring a range of specialties alongside family medicine, including:
- Dermatology — skin, hair, and nail concerns
- Pediatrics — children's health, from newborns through the teen years
- Internal medicine & geriatrics — complex and senior care
- Sports medicine — activity-related injuries and care
- Women's health — contraception counselling, IUD and Nexplanon insertion, Pap testing, HPV testing, and related care
- Prenatal care — pregnancy follow-up with your physician until transition to a maternity centre
Specialty care is generally based out of Sullivan, with Sports Medicine and Dermatology at South Surrey. Access to a specialist begins with a referral from your family doctor, and patients of either clinic can be seen at both locations.
