Masseter (Jaw) Treatment Explained
Masseter treatment is sought for jaw tension and facial balance. Here's an honest, plain-language explanation of what it does.
Relaxes the jaw muscle — not filler
For jaw tension or lower-face contour
Develops gradually, temporary, repeated
Individually assessed at a complimentary consult
The masseter is the strong muscle at the angle of the jaw that you use to chew. Treatment of this muscle is sought for two main reasons — easing jaw tension and influencing the contour of the lower face — and it's often confused with filler, though it works very differently.
How it works
Masseter treatment uses the same muscle-relaxing approach as anti-wrinkle treatments, applied to the masseter muscle. By gently reducing the muscle's activity, it can ease tension and, over time, soften the appearance of a strong jaw angle. This is different from filler, which adds volume.

Some people seek it for jaw tension and clenching-related discomfort; others for facial contouring of the lower face. Your injector will assess which applies to you and whether the treatment is appropriate.
What to expect
Effects develop gradually over the weeks following treatment rather than immediately, and are temporary, so the treatment is repeated to maintain results. Your injector explains the realistic timeline and what to expect.
